I still call myself a painter even though I focus more on the Fiber arts now.... all my work has that feel of native american.. maybe it was all those trips with my dad to Cherokee. He would always buy me a bracelet with turquiose and some moccasins. The dog of course is my beloved dog I had in college and thereafter.. Dylan.

This is a very calming weaving on canvas. It is like looking at clouds on a summer day... or watching the ocean from a great spot on the beach. Everything is calm , moments passing one into another... I hope it brings you back to that calm , the moment , the breath ... where in this space and time all is well with you and the world.

Tibet Weaving

This by far is my most favorite weaving. I call it Steps to Tibet.
It resembles layers and steps that we climb in our life journey. The colours are soft and earthy. I've added a small Chinese fish
token and a Chinese Bell for good luck. I guess this is my masterpiece weaving. All the steps are in alignment, the flow is smooth, and the journey in this weaving was long but worthwhile.
Weaving to me is a journey , over earth, over mountains and textures... A peaceful melody created by the weaver and the materials... Enjoy.

Buddhas' Delight

A healing weaving using my favorite buddha token. The weaving will give one a sense of oneness with self, with life, with destiny.
Colors of red promote strength and courage.
