New work in the studio reflects my life with my girls as they begin their journey into the 20's... and I will say it's not easy. The mountains have always given me a great sense of support ,strength and love over the years. I try to make visits to my home Asheville as often as possible.
I'm back at Village studios now on Pendleton Street gearing up for all the art activities that begin in June and continue thru fall.
enjoy the fragments and visit the mountains as well.

Rowe
I titled this work Rowe after a wonderful store I found in Columbus , Ohio about 5 years ago. This piece has just recently sold and I miss her already , but the purchaser is a wonderful lady and a fellow yogi so she has a good home. Actually there was also another buyer interested in the piece as well . The animal has a lady face which I think is just beautiful .. it is done on canvas board which is great because it provides a strength to the piece.
Forest and Fibers
Forest and Fibers was my first show at 10 Central Avenue Studios. In this show I combined my fiber wall hangings with new works created for the show. Most all the new work is mythical in nature. The work shown here claims the title of the show and is shown with the fiber background. The works are still hanging at my new location thru mid March. 10 Central Avenue studios has been a great place for me and the move has truly been a great experience. A new side of town and a new look to my studio.

The Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is one of the most beautiful things I've ever encountered. It is dark and steel like in the day :almost surreal, but at nite it comes into its own. The lights and people and energy of Paris bring the tower into something bigger than imagined.
To me the tower was always a woman... small head, large body and long legs. I never grew tired of her presence ,energy , and warmth .I still draw the tower as if I'm there again. I will most likely always go back to her in my art work for strength and inspiration.

TheRoad Less Traveled
Sometimes it is easy to take the road everyone travels.. but I've always taken the alternate route. It hasn't always turned out perfect but it has somehow always been an adventure .
This artwork reflects the road upward... I love the colours and the Salvador Dali little elephant in the corner. Enjoy.

New Beginnings
We always begin again ... whether it's a new day , a piece of art , or a practice. Life is about change and when we start again at something that it already familiar we add to it in a different way, a new light. The art work to be posted in the coming months is all about change... forgiveness, love, healings, light..the list is endless. Enjoy
